Nun Otel

There's parking for my car, and the centre is a ten-minute walk away. The rooms were clean and spacious, and I thought it was good value for money.

The room was a little noisy from traffic because the hotel is in the middle of the city, though that's not really something they can control. The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean, with helpful staff and nice attention to detail. It would help if breakfast dishes had ingredient labels, especially for non-Turkish guests and vegetarians, since the staff aren't very comfortable speaking English.

Getting to Mevlana and Shams takes less than ten minutes on foot, and there's a bakery, supermarket, and restaurants nearby. The hotel is on Istanbul street, a tourist area where many hotels are located. Staff are friendly and welcoming, though their English is limited. Breakfast was good and as expected, and room service was good too. The cleaning staff were kind and polite. The rooms are really tiny, with hardly any room to move, so they're best for solo travelers. Couples or anyone needing space for two should ask about room 101, 201, or 301 ahead of time. There was also a bad smoke smell everywhere, which I felt was part of Konya's environment rather than specific to this hotel. The slippers weren't good quality, so bring your own if you want to feel at home.

The location isn't ideal, though it's close enough to walk around, and there's parking and internet. The hotel was very clean, the reception guys were nice, and breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh food.
