Ramada Encore by Wyndham Konya Karatay

The room was nice, and I eventually got the king bed, but there was no garden view. I had booked through Agoda, expecting a king room with a garden view and sofa bed, but the front desk gave me a twin room instead, and neither the view nor sofa bed was there. The lady at reception spoke very little English and needed Google Translate. When I asked for help taking my luggage up, she said her friends weren't here, so at first there was no assistance. I didn't let it pass, and she eventually found someone to help. Very disappointed with the whole thing.

It needs proper management. The staff were extremely passive and seemed to do the bare minimum, and the lobby smelled horrible from an absurd amount of air-freshener. I had to cover my nose. The bed was very uncomfortable, though the rooms themselves were okay. This has no business being called a hotel, it felt more like a bed and breakfast. It needs proper management, not new staff.

Melke was especially nice and efficient, and even printed a document for me on the hotel printer. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed, a fridge, and a good shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was included and okay.

A very good hotel choice in Konya. Practical location, helpful staff, and a new hotel with new rooms. Mr. Baki and Mrs Aysun were especially nice and helpful. Well done, keep it up please.
