Our booking through Expedia was confirmed and paid, but the hotel said there was an “error” in their system and asked us to pay $70 USD per night. The place smelled of cigarettes and cow and goat droppings, including the sheets, which smelled smoky. The rooms and walls were filthy and looked like they hadn't been cleaned; the floors seemed to be the only thing they cleaned. They were friendly to our faces, but I felt they were overcharging us. We couldn't stay even one minute. The customer service was disgusting, and I wouldn't call this a hotel. Worst experience. If you care about your health or safety, stay away and go somewhere that cares about its guests. Avoid at all costs.

I liked the old elevator and the lobby's interior, and you can get a good meal in the dining room. The receptionist was friendly, spoke good English, and I liked how the manager treated guests. Before the match, I gave him a ceramic decanter with a picture of the Cossacks. I stayed here before the Turkey-Ukraine national team match, and the location was great, right in the city center near mosques, museums, and other sights.

A cheap place to stay in Konya, with nice, friendly service. It's very central, but definitely needs maintenance. You can't bring guests into your double room. I guess they want to prevent prostitutes from staying overnight.

The room was spacious for a reasonable price, and the manager and staff were very friendly. The location was also really good, so we decided to extend our stay. I'd like to return.
