Florya Kumlubuk Hotel Marmaris

We tied our sailboat to their pontoon and had dinner at the restaurant, though we didn't stay at the hotel. The bay views were lovely, the service was friendly and superb, and all the food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious, especially the pickled seabass, grilled chicken, ceviche, and calamari. The staff were wonderful and the rooms very clean. It's a beautiful place, with stunning rooms and beach, black sand and pebbles, cold crystal-clear water, and yachts in view from the private pier. They can arrange private yacht tours with pickup right at the hotel. This place blew us away. I'm hard to impress, even living in Dubai, and we're definitely coming back. 10/10.

The food was amazing, and the chef is very talented. We're both foodies, Turkish and English, and really loved the meals. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a slight boho feel. The staff welcomed us like family and went above and beyond, with Korhan, Manisha, Müdahir, Osman, Görkem and everyone else making the stay special. Villa Florya sits on a quiet bay beach with spectacular views. We didn't want to leave this paradise, and we're already planning another trip. There's nowhere like it in Marmaris. The location and management deserve five stars, and the WiFi, beach, and water are great. The villas could use more clothes storage and enough dishes and kitchen utensils for each one's capacity. An iron, ironing board, or garment steamer would also help. An English restaurant menu would be useful, and the waiters could use some training. Ours tried to clear our table too quickly, which was annoying. On the beach, the umbrellas are too small and set too low. Tall people can hit their heads and hurt their eyes, and the shade they give isn't enough.
