Room 308 was spotless, right down to the sheets and pillowcases, and the bathroom and toilet were just as clean. I arrived without a reservation and stayed one night. Since a room was available, they gave me a double room for the single-room price, which was a nice gesture. It was very affordable for a guesthouse. The heating worked so well I opened the window in the middle of January because I was a little hot. There was always hot water, plus satellite TV and internet. Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but everything was fresh and tasty. My only gripe was that the power outlets were tucked behind the headboard. I recommend it.

I booked over the phone with my name and number, then arrived around 3 AM. The room in 407 was clean and warm, and the bathroom and toilet had been renovated. The shower was enclosed, and small bottles of shampoo and shower gel were provided, but there was no toilet paper. The beds were arranged so the outlets were behind the headboard cover, easy to miss unless you looked closely. I noticed what I think was an odd smell from the bathroom floor drain. The hot water took a while to come through after I turned on the shower, so I briefly thought there wasn't any. I opened the windows to air out the smell, then lay down at 4:20 AM and could hear young people nearby talking heatedly. The cleanliness was excellent, though the room layout could be a bit better. Good for the price.

The shampoos were awful, almost watery, as if they'd been diluted. The staff at the guesthouse were rude and unfriendly, and reception was terrible: nearly every time I went downstairs, nobody was there. I booked a double room but only got single towels, and there was no housekeeping the next day, so I had to go looking for towels myself. The shower took 15 minutes to get hot.

A new, clean guesthouse with airy rooms, comfortable beds, and very low prices. The friendly people running it even found me a kettle, which saved me from going without coffee. The downside is that there’s no air conditioning or minibar.
