For a one-night stop, the location worked well: it's near the city center and plenty of restaurants, and the apartment is spacious enough for a family. We paid 1500TL, with breakfast and parking not included. The big bed had a firm mattress, the room was warm, and there's a kitchen if you want to cook. The man who answered the phone and welcomed us had a positive attitude and knew some English. The cleaning seemed superficial, the sort that looks fine in photos. I felt sticky patches on the floor, and there were stains in the WC. There were no bathroom hangers or somewhere to leave towels, and nowhere near the sink or shower for toiletries. The bedside lamps didn't work. I would have liked a sheet between me and the rough blanket. The freezer couldn't freeze two small water bottles overnight, and street noise came through even late at night. The toiletries provided looked expired. After my partner showered in the first room, the water suddenly stopped everywhere, including the sink, shower and toilet. I called reception, and wasn't happy with the suggestion to wait for the manager and see what happened. It was late, and we were tired and hungry, but after we showed our discontent, they moved us to another room. Then the reception shift changed. The woman who took over didn't speak any English, and Google Translate didn't help much. In the second room, the shower cable needed replacing. Explaining that felt like too much hassle, and she wanted us to wait another X minute for someone to come fix it. We were still tired and hungry. I don't understand why the cable was broken in the first place, or why housekeeping hadn't noticed and fixed it, especially for a hotel that positions itself as premium. They only provide an invoice if you're on a business trip.
