We only moved into the apartment on Wednesday and left today, but I’m very upset by how Mr. Vedat treated us. He accused us of walking around with shoes on when we hadn’t, and he was extremely rude. He was waiting for payment as soon as we arrived. I’ve lived in apartments for years and never been treated this way. The air conditioners were broken and badly maintained, the kitchen cloths and towels were filthy, one pot was burnt inside, and the other was unusable because its handle and lid were broken. We didn’t complain or try to offend him about any of this. If he hadn’t been so rude, I wouldn’t have brought it up. This is no way to run a business, and I don’t believe the positive comments are accurate.

We had a really good stay for Eid al-Adha, and I strongly disagree with some of the negative Google reviews. Mr. Vedat and his wife are genuinely kind people. The apartment is close enough to the beach, not too crowded, and a lovely option for a private, relaxing family holiday. The kitchen has everything you need, and unlike many apartments, there’s a very clean swimming pool that Mr. Vedat cleans constantly. We’ve stayed here three times. When we arrived, the air conditioner had a minor fault, but Mr. Vedat dealt with it straight away and it was fixed the next day. I highly recommend the place.

It was a disaster. The owner, Mr. Muhammet, called on Friday evening even though we’d agreed to pay on Saturday. The air conditioners didn’t work, and there was barely any water from the leaking taps. When we were leaving the pool area, he even tried to extort money from us. With no mosquito nets, we kept having to spend money on repellent, and the broken air conditioning made that even worse. The TVs were old, the beds hard, and there were no kitchen utensils.

I’ve stayed there twice and was given a really warm welcome both times. The apartment is lovely. I can’t make sense of the negative review, maybe those guests behaved inappropriately. I’ll definitely go back again this year.
