Paloma Oceana - All inclusive

The location is beautiful, and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. We thought it would be an amazing place in summer. The rooms were clean, the dining staff worked very thoroughly, and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. The selection was amazing, very fresh, and pastries were baked right there, though the food tasted bland. The dorms were very clean, too. It's a very nice place, but at the current price it just isn't worth it.

Cilem was such an attentive waitress, always serving us with a smile and making sure our glasses never sat empty. At the piano bar, Kadir and Lütfü made us amazing cocktails and happily prepared drinks we wanted even when they weren't on the menu. The food was great, the staff were amazing, and the service was perfect. It was a great time of year to visit.

We had a lovely family holiday at Paloma Oceana Resort. Kitty looked after our children so well, and they already miss her. She was kind and professional throughout, helped everything run smoothly, and let us relax as a family. İzzet at the restaurant also made meals comfortable and pleasant with his warm manner, attention to detail, and excellent service. Highly recommended for a quality all-inclusive family resort with great staff and service.

Outside the hotel, the streets were scruffy, with cracked pavements, rubbish piles and wide wasteland areas that may be awaiting development. Shopkeepers trying to coax us inside were irritating, so we usually walked along the beach. Inside, life was very pleasant. The grounds and gardens are extensive and reach the beach, and the staff at reception, bars, dining room and housekeeping were all pleasant, courteous and helpful. Our spacious bedroom had a balcony that got sun from morning until late afternoon. The bed was comfortable, though my pillows were lumpy, and the minibar fridge was refilled daily. The air conditioning didn't seem very effective, so we slept with the balcony door slightly open. The first time we opened it wider, one of the many hotel cats had wandered into our room around 2 am. The buffet displays were impressive in size, appearance and variety, and the food was good quality with lots of choice. Hot dishes were usually hot, unlike at many hotels, but the plates were usually cold, so meals often cooled before we finished. We didn't use the beach bar or à la carte restaurants. The drinks included in the all-inclusive package seemed reasonably good, but the coffee at the Patisserie was disappointingly cold. We skipped many other facilities, including the spa and pools, though the hotel seems to cater to all ages. The weather in late February and early March was better than expected: no rain, sun every day, and temperatures from 16 to 20°C.
