Liu Resorts - All inclusive

We loved every minute of our week at Liu Resorts and can't wait to return. Our room was cleaned every day and always felt fresh, and the whole resort team was kind, helpful, and attentive. The main outdoor pool was heated, so it was great for swimming. Vedat Olgun, the lifeguard, was especially welcoming and always helped us find a good spot by the pool. The food was high quality and tasty, with enough to send you home a few kilos heavier. The bars served branded alcohol, the bartenders made delicious cocktails, and the coffee bars got our coffee right every time. We also ate at the à la carte restaurant, a perfect end to the holiday, and the food there was amazing. We'd absolutely recommend Liu Resorts.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel or come back. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, though at times it smelled too strongly of fragrance. The gym was awful: a small room with only a couple of machines, some broken, and no cleaning supplies. Hygiene was nonexistent, with sweat stains everywhere and benches left sweaty from earlier visitors. One day the room wasn't really cleaned at all: no water, toilet paper, or towels were replaced, and the bed blanket was just rolled up. The service from Serhat was excellent. After the first day he knew what we wanted to drink, and he was quick and did his job well. He deserves credit. But another time, we ordered a cocktail and were served water instead. The next night we waited more than an hour for our drink before another waiter came to ask what we wanted. There aren't enough sunbeds, so you need to get up early to claim one. The food choice sounds varied, but breakfast was the same each morning, and lunch and dinner repeated their selections too. This five-star hotel has shortcomings it could address, and I hope they work on them to live up to the rating.

The beach bar was a highlight, with a fantastic atmosphere and hardworking staff. The bearded manager there, whose name I don't know, kept a close eye on everything. We also had a great time at the Wonderland party. Get to the bar early if you want a good place to watch the show. The animation program was good, and the water park had about six slides for adults and children. Of the three pools, we liked the one called "Relax" best. The grounds are small, green, and beautifully designed, and our rooms and the property were spotless. Thanks to Yulia for the cleanliness. The cocktails were delicious and the vibe was cool. The beach is about a five-minute walk, or there's a shuttle every two minutes. We thought it might be easier if the walking path to the beach were separated from the car road, and a canopy at the drop-off stop by the sea could be useful in hot weather. My boyfriend and I stayed September 19th to 25th and were delighted with the service. The food was excellent, with red salmon, shrimp, plenty of meat, fish and cheese, amazing cakes, and sushi every day. Our holiday was a 10/10. Of all the five-star hotels we've visited, this was the best, and the first one that made us really want to come back.

The rude way one of the young golf cart drivers spoke to us left a bad impression. In front of many guests, he told us to leave immediately, and it was embarrassing. We'd come to look around Liu Resort because we were considering staying there next year. It makes sense that access is restricted, but a family with a baby shouldn't be treated that way. Some courtesy and guest relations training would help. The security guard, thankfully, was kind and professional. When we explained that we only wanted a quick look, he called reception and arranged an appointment for the next day. On that visit we were welcomed warmly and shown around the property. We've never had an encounter like the first one before.
