Seher Kumkoy Star Resort & Spa ex Hane Hotel

We spent 6 days here and had a very good experience. The staff were friendly, and when our first room was noisy, maybe from the AC compressor or generator, they moved us to another one without much fuss after we told them. Small hiccups were dealt with almost immediately. The hotel could use a new coat of paint, but otherwise it’s top notch and good value, though we weren’t there in high season, so I can’t say how busy it gets. There are several pools, beach activities and sports, typical spa services, and a mini supermarket at the resort. You can access the beach directly, and one of the multiple restaurants is right on the beach. Food is available even at night, with pizza, seafood and continental options at different times. There’s a lot of variety, though it can feel a bit repetitive after 2 days. In the evenings there are music events, including things for kids. Staff tips would make the service many times better.

The room we got was not the one we booked, and it was completely dirty and uncleaned. When we asked to change rooms, we were only lied to, and the tour guide didn’t help either. Never again.

The beach is big and the water is clean, and the place itself is very nice. The staff are friendly and seem to like tips :) They don’t speak English very well, mostly German. There isn’t much variety in the food, and sometimes I was left hungry.
