Sural Saray Hotel

It was a peaceful place where it was easy to relax and rest, and the guest mix was varied but mostly German. The beach was great, though the umbrellas were small and fixed in place, so we had to keep moving the sunbed to stay in the shade. That doesn't fit the level the hotel seems to aim for. Room comfort also fell short, though I could overlook it to some extent. The food was good quality, but the selection felt limited compared with other places I've been. The hotel was half empty, so perhaps that affected the variety. In many ways the hotel is excellent, but for the price listed on Booking, I don't think it was quite worth it. It seems close to great comfort, but still a long way from premium.

The rooftop nightclub was the one drawback. It was so loud you could hear it from every room, even across the hotel, and it would be better if it were a little quieter. Otherwise, the hotel looked fantastic and just like the pictures. It's modern, and the staff were great and friendly.

We had an amazing holiday at Sural Saray Hotel, and honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews. Some of them made me hesitate when choosing a hotel, so I'm writing this because they didn't match our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel great. Our room was modern, spotless, and trouble-free. The air conditioning worked perfectly, it was cleaned every day, and the minibar was refilled. Food seemed endless, with a huge range: charcoal-grilled meat, grilled fish, fresh pasta, homemade tiramisu, tacos, and so much more. It was a delight. The bartenders and service staff worked hard to keep us happy. Every morning we saw the pool sunbeds being disinfected, and the pool team kept everything in order and was always available. Being adults only was a huge plus, since we could enjoy the peace and quiet without children's noise. It took us three days to try all the snacks and explore the different services and fun. There was a lobby bar, a beach bar with ice cream, fruit cups, and drinks, and a pool bar with everything we wanted. I can't say much about the animation programs because I didn't join many, but we did go to the Boho Party and it was fantastic.

The food was very good, and from chatting with other guests, it sounded like our hotel was well rated. The grounds are lovely, though the loud music could bother anyone hoping for a quiet break. The renovation seems recent, but the work was poorly done: wallpaper is coming loose in places and grout is smeared across some tiles. Staff need better training, since we often had to ask repeatedly for drinks instead of anyone coming over to offer. The beds felt a bit hard and the pillows were overstuffed. Still, I enjoyed the holiday overall.
