Vesta Hotel

This is a quiet, clean, family-run hotel on the small side, which I liked. I stayed seven nights on my own and loved it enough to plan a return next year. My room was tiny but suited my needs, with a balcony overlooking the sea. It had two beds, a desk and stool, a fridge, a roomy wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. The bathroom was small but adequate, though I couldn't adjust the shower temperature: it was either very hot or very cold. The balcony was also tiny, so I had to choose between sitting out and drying my swimsuit on the provided rack. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner buffets were modest but sufficient. I often skipped those meals because the beach is best early or late in August, but I could always get lunch at midday for an extra charge. There's a small pool with perhaps ten sunbeds, but the lovely sandy beach is only a two-minute walk away. It's free for hotel guests and less crowded than other hotel beaches. Restaurants, cafés and shops line the promenade towards the old town and Port, about a 15-minute walk away. A lovely boutique hotel with clean rooms, friendly people and an excellent location. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

For a three-star place, this was a huge surprise. People had advised us against booking somewhere like this, but we'd happily return. The rooms were really clean, and the double room was cozy enough, though the smaller rooms were less so. The food was great, the staff friendly, and it felt family-run. The beach is a two-minute walk, and the restaurant here is the cheapest nearby and nice. The closest restaurant on the beach is really good too. The Turkish ice cream comes with a fun performance. Nearby hotels were noisy, and I wouldn't want to stay in one of them. I gave four stars because I saw another room used by family members and its air conditioning seemed questionable. We'll definitely choose this place again.

Hotel Vesta gave our family a fantastic holiday and some lovely memories. We spent our days eating and drinking, swimming, and enjoying the sunshine, beautiful sea and great people, then ate and drank some more. Thanks for everything. See you soon, Peter, Lucia, Alica and Ema from Slovakia.

We liked it so much that our planned five nights turned into seven. The price was reasonable and included a modest but plentiful breakfast and delicious dinners. Everything was fresh, with a different tasty dinner each night, not chicken every time. Our room, #405, was spacious and very clean, and its large balcony had a spectacular sea view. The sandy beach, not pebbles, was a two-minute walk away. It's extremely clean, shallow for several metres, and hotel guests get free chairs and an umbrella, though drinks cost extra as they do at the hotel. Side centre is at most a 20-minute walk, a lovely evening stroll. My husband and I have travelled along Turkey's south-west coast all summer and stayed in many places. This was one of our favorites: clean, quiet and calm, with excellent service. Thanks to the owner and staff for making our visit so pleasant.
