VONRESORT Elite - All Inclusive

The food and drinks were 10/10, with lots of buffet options, and the all inclusive covered water, drinks, and food. The bed was very comfortable, and our upgrade to Elite included its own restaurant, though I don’t know why we got upgraded. The resort is close to the beach and shares an aquapark with all Vonresorts, with big swimming pools throughout. The waterpark officially opens on May 1, but when it’s warm you can use it earlier, and we went in April. WiFi was really bad and disconnected a lot. I’d give the stay about 4.7/5. Golden Beach also looks interesting and comfortable, maybe I’ll try it next time.

The rooms weren’t clean. The floor was black with dirt and still dirty after we asked for it to be mopped. Maintenance came into our room without knocking while our kids were asleep, which was very disturbing. When we asked for more water, we were told to go downstairs and get it ourselves, hard to manage with little kids. The photos showed carpets, which is why we chose the hotel, but apparently they were old pictures and the floor is ceramic. The pools, beach, restaurants, and food were really good, and the staff were very nice and friendly. It’s green, with lots of flowers, and there’s a little zoo with hens and rabbits. So there were good things, but also some disappointing experiences. I’m still wondering where “world elite” comes from 😂

The garden and grounds are gorgeous, which was the one good thing for me. Service was AWFUL. Nobody speaks English, and the answer to everything seems to be yes with a smile, then nothing gets done. It would also be nice if they didn’t do maintenance around the restaurants during meal times.

My children were especially upset by how we were treated, and the whole stay left my family shocked and deeply saddened. Staff repeatedly ignored our requests, acted hostile, and were rude to us from the moment we arrived. We felt unwelcome, and their treatment seemed openly racist and discriminatory. What should have been a relaxing trip became disturbing instead. We can't recommend Von Resort. Families who care about respect and a decent environment should avoid it.
