Mr. Enes at reception was kind and helpful, and did his best to accommodate our requests. The buffet breakfast was average and could be better. The location isn’t very far from the market, but it’s not close either, and the walk may be hard with children. I didn’t check the map carefully before booking, and I wouldn’t have chosen it if I had. There’s no hotel parking, just roadside spaces below, and the area didn’t feel very safe, though we had no alternative. Our family stayed one day after choosing the hotel based on the reviews. Cleanliness matters most to me, but the room was dusty enough that I felt I was breathing it all night. The windows were so dirty I could barely see through them. The toilet and sink hadn’t been cleaned, so I wiped them with the wet cloths I’d brought. Some sheets hadn’t been changed either, but we asked and got fresh ones. Our room was reached from the back, not through the main courtyard. We thought that wouldn’t matter for one night, but the route smelled terrible and felt deserted. You have to climb stairs to get there, and it’s tiring and inconvenient, especially for a longer stay, since it also takes you through a dirty area.

We had a calm, relaxing stay, and breakfast was better than we expected. The room was comfortable, tidy, and clean, and the staff were very helpful. Getting around was easy, with the bazaar about a 6-7 minute walk away. If we return, we’d choose this hotel again. It’s a great place to enjoy Mardin.

The room they called their “best room” was damp, moldy, and filthy. The water was ice cold, the soap dispensers were empty, and the spare shampoo bottles had expired two years earlier. I’ve never stayed somewhere so dirty or seen such indifference. There was no care at all. Stay somewhere else, even sleeping in your car would be better. Don’t trust these people. Your response says we gave you false information, right? Other families who stayed at different times have made the same complaints, but you keep ignoring them. That’s shameless. You’re defrauding people because you think they won’t return. I attached a photo, and you’ll probably have the audacity to claim it isn’t yours.

There were only two dim lights in the entrance hall, and not even a light in the toilet, so we had to get ready in the dark. The bathrooms and toilets were filthy, and there was no hot water in the shower. We left the water running for half an hour, and it was still nearly cold. This place is way below what the price deserves. They treat you like a fool. I’d never choose it again. Don’t stay here.

The view was beautiful, like all of Mardin was spread out below us. Everything was neat and clean during our stay, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
