Rosa Hostel

The atmosphere here felt like an oasis where I could relax and enjoy the hospitality and conversation. I stayed in early July and had a really good time. Husayn was a lovely host who’d chat with me over morning tea and coffee and share useful tips. I wouldn’t have found homemade Syriac wine without his help. There are both air conditioning and fans, which really matter in summer. There aren’t many non-Turkish tourists in this part of Turkey, and I think people who are picky or inflexible might not enjoy the place. Still, I’d encourage you to try it and see the hostel’s warm atmosphere for yourself.

The terrace is breathtaking, and the staff are tremendous. The rooms are cozy too. Best place to stay in Mardin. See you next time!

The owners are genuinely kind, and there’s a friendly atmosphere among the guests. It’s a comfortable hostel with nice views and good beds.

A great hostel with a friendly crew and a nice atmosphere. They’d only opened a couple of months earlier, but seemed to be on the right track to making it a great destination for travelers passing through or people staying a few days or even weeks to explore the area of Kurdistan.
