There’s a cafe where you can sit with tea or coffee and enjoy the view, and breakfast was delicious too. The hotel is high up in Mardin, at the foot of the castle, with a spotless view. Our room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

We were there with three families for two nights, October 15-16, 2025. The parking was a bit of a challenge, but the view made it worthwhile. Mr. Murat, the hotel owner, helped us with all our questions, and we’re very thankful to him.

The room was decent in size, though there was no running water in it, and I noticed a slight smell. The bathroom was good, while cleanliness and breakfast were adequate. It’s a hotel at the foot of the castle. You drive up to the front of Zincirli Madrasa, then walk to the top, where there’s a restaurant and cafe with a nice view.
