Club Likya Apartment

There were ten of us, so the hotel's private transfer worked out to £10 per person each way, and it was well worth paying for. We were offered bottled water straight away and had WiFi for the ride. Check-in was efficient, they took us right to our room and carried our luggage up the stairs. The room was immaculate, and I found the beds comfortable. Everyone made sure we were all right and asked if we needed anything. They treated us like family. I'd definitely recommend staying here, and we'll be back.

On our second visit to Club Likya, two years after the first, the friendly staff helped us feel at ease straight away. The room had everything we needed, and there were always enough sunbeds and umbrellas, though they were close together. Prices have risen around Marmaris, but drinks here still cost less than at nearby restaurants. The food was good, just not as good as last time, and we tend to eat out anyway. One thing that bothered me was seeing people drink from glasses in the pool. It could be dangerous if one broke. There were also lots of bees around the pool, and one stung the bottom of my toe. I don't know what could be done about that. Even so, we'd happily return to Club Likya again and again.

The staff made us feel welcome from arrival to goodbye, and the personal farewell was a lovely touch. Mehmet, Atila, Ahmed, Yusef, Burak and everyone else, thank you for looking after us. The management clearly works hard to keep the complex pristine. Our one-bedroom apartment suited two adults and two children, with a pull-out sofa in the living room, a roomy balcony and cooking amenities. The shower had strong pressure. Around the pool there were comfortable sunbeds and parasols with tables, and the bar served the beds from 8am to 8pm. We preferred the on-site restaurant to the outside places we tried. Prices were similar, the food was available from 8am until 11pm, and the Lamb Shank is well worth trying. The beach and Blue Port were about a ten-minute walk away; shops and bars were an easy stroll. A very friendly supermarket just steps from the entrance stays open 24 hours. We had a fantastic family holiday and would highly recommend it. Hope to come back soon.

This was our second visit, and it's a lovely choice for a relaxing break. The food was delicious, the showers were really good, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help. They even tracked down a mobile phone one of our friends had left in a taxi. Tip from me: bring your own hairdryer.
