Pasa Garden Beach

The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Food can be hit or miss, so fussy eaters may need to pick out the dishes they like. Breakfast doesn't include sausage, bacon, or ham because it's a Muslim country, though there are plenty of places outside the hotel serving a proper English or Scottish breakfast. There's no lift to the upper floors, so anyone with mobility issues should request a ground-floor room when booking. The next-door bistro and bar plays very loud music until late, which makes an early night difficult. Turkey isn't for me, and I won't be returning.

The staff were kind and the WiFi worked well throughout the hotel, even reaching the beach. The spot is convenient too, right by the water and about a five-minute walk from Blue Port shopping centre. Our room, 231, was clean and roomy, with a big bathroom and three balconies. The doors to the main room and balcony wouldn't lock, though, and there was no lift on our side of the building, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. The restaurant layout felt odd, since you had to go outside and back in to collect food. Still, it was good value.

We liked the place enough to book another visit for this May after staying last May with my wife and daughter. The hotel is right on the beach, with plenty of loungers, and the pool area is clean and spacious. Our room was large and had three balconies, a lucky surprise. The rooms were clean, beach towels were available, and guests mixed well. The food was okay for an all-inclusive stay. We got in at 5 in the morning and found the coffee machine already working by the pool, a nice touch. Staff were friendly, and entertainer Eddie did a great job getting people involved.

It was my birthday while we were there, and they decorated the room, such a lovely gesture. The staff were so helpful, the food had plenty of choices, and the hotel sits right on the seafront. I'd stay again.
