Sirius Mi Hotel Gumuldur

We were three women, and the hotel turned out better than we expected for the reasonable price. The rooms were clean and a good size, and the staff were attentive. Breakfast had fresh food and was quite enough. We also enjoyed the loungers by the pool. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We had a happy stay, and for the price I’d recommend the hotel to anyone choosing from reviews. Being close to the sea was a big plus, and it was lovely to fall asleep in our sea-view room to the sound of the waves. The pool was adequate and the air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast had enough variety, but the hot food, especially the fries, was always cold. There were some little things that cost it a star. The sheets and pillowcases were stained, and there were yellow marks inside the toilet, though I’m not sure if they can be removed. The bathroom liquid soap dispensers were broken, and the shower leaked. Some of the beach loungers were broken too.

We enjoyed our stay and found everything clean, with no issues. The rooms have air conditioning, and the breakfast that came with our stay was quite sufficient. There’s a good menu of snacks and main dishes for kids, including hamburgers and meatballs. The pool was a particular hit with the children, and the sea is only 10 seconds away. Ms. Ülkü, the hotel manager, was attentive from our reservation right through to departure, and we thank her for that. If you're choosing based on reviews like I did, you can come with peace of mind. There’s also an aqua park very close by that serves food and drinks throughout the day as part of its concept.

The location is good and the staff are nice. We appreciate Ülkü Hanım, but kindness doesn’t make up for the rest. This is a huge hotel with only one cleaning staff member, so rooms are cleaned only when you ask. They’re spacious, but the furnishings and architecture are old. Breakfast isn’t merely bad, it’s terrible. I won’t come back.
