The crew were wonderful, caring, and friendly, and the location is lovely, with a creek running through the grounds. You can walk in nature or sit by the water and relax. The one letdown was the third bed in our room. Although the rooms sleep three or four people, the extra beds are old and really uncomfortable, so they need improving. Thanks for everything!

The rooms have a nice old-school feel, and the food is healthy and good. The reception lady was polite and professional. I think her name was Yasemin. The air is perfect early in the morning, so go trekking. Friendly dogs will watch over you until you get back to your room, though they bark now and then. It's still a super quiet place. At night, you can have tea or wine by the campfire, or read beside the fireplace. Great place to rest and breathe.

The grounds are cute and well kept, and this glamping spot just outside Mengen makes a pleasant weekend getaway. It's a little hipster haven between Ankara and the Black Sea. We rented a tiny house and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was and how much room there actually was. We ate both dinner and breakfast at Hindiba. The food was tasty and vegetarian friendly, and the staff were very helpful despite speaking limited English. Hindiba also draws a hipster crowd from Istanbul that prefers bossa nova to Turkish Heartland songs, so we weren't blasted out of the dining room. They make and sell cute homemade wooden vases and other trinkets too. There are four walking routes in the area, green, blue, green, and yellow. They're nice enough, but not especially pretty or exciting. We did the first three in four hours and saw plenty of nice pine trees and some deer. I wouldn't be sure about coming here for stunning landscapes, but it's very pleasant if you just want a weekend away. Bring a map or an app with one, since the routes aren't marked well at all. Since it's glamping and you spend most of the day outside, Covid seemed like a minimal risk. The bigger concern is that food is served buffet style and the dining room can get busy, though it wasn't concerningly busy when we were there.

The people are super nice, and the place feels warm, surrounded by beautiful nature. The bungalows are rather small, but quite adequate for two. Families with children should consider the bigger rooms.
