Nigrum Hotel Nevsehir Cappadocia

We felt welcome right from arrival, and the owner and receptionist were friendly and helpful. We didn’t speak the same language, but Google Translate made communication easy. Since we arrived well before check-in, they gave us breakfast and let us into the room early at no extra cost. The room was clean and came with bottled water, tea, and a kettle. The hotel itself is cozy, nicely decorated, and clearly made with a lot of care. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was tasty, generous, and had plenty of options. The location is great, and the staff shared useful directions and tips. They really make you feel at home. I don’t understand the bad reviews. To me, it’s perfect, with excellent quality for the price.

The two guys at reception were nice, and the location is convenient for visiting other towns. The hotel is old and needs renovation, and there are internet problems. You can upgrade to the more expensive rooms on the upper floors. If you’re planning a summer visit, don’t, because the room AC doesn’t work and the rooms aren’t very cool. The toilets were just okay. When we arrived, ours had a strange smell and wasn’t clean.
