Our stay was lovely, and the staff were so sweet and helpful. When our taxi didn’t show, the receptionist took time to contact the driver, who never answered, then booked another one. They made sure we got to the airport in time for our flight. I’d absolutely recommend the place. You feel looked after.

The rooms are spacious, and both the location and service staff were great. The decor is dated and reflects Turkish tastes, which added to the Turkish experience. You can see the Bosphorus through the metal fire escape. It’s a view, at least!

I went with friends and we had a great stay. Our room was kept clean and tidy, the view was amazing, and the staff were friendly and helpful around the clock. I’d pick this hotel again on my next Istanbul trip.

Hotel owner Mervan is involved in the day-to-day running and treats guests like family. You get hotel luxury and service along with the convenience of an Airbnb, including the option to cook your own food. It’s a great four-star location in the lively Chingir area, just a two-minute walk from Taksim and the Metro.
