Görükle Oruç Hotel & Spa

Breakfast was really good, and the quality felt fair for the price. The room was very clean with lots of space for my things. The staff were nice, kind, and professional.

I was shocked to find the spa wasn't working at all, even though the hotel showed it as available. That didn't feel fair. The reception person was very rude and told me to take it or leave it, and the staff communicated very badly.

The room was the best part for my mother and me. We were on the second floor, and it was spacious and comfortable, though not luxurious. It had a queen bed, a single bed, a sofa, a window, a vanity table, a TV, a wardrobe, and toiletries. The bathroom was roomy too and had what we needed. We ate dinner and breakfast there the next day. The food was standard and enjoyable, with plenty of side dishes, appetizers, drinks, and desserts. A few of the mostly young women serving us were chewing gum, which surprised us, but we let it go. We don't know what the stay cost since the tour had arranged everything. This was our first hotel on the Turkey tour, and we found it pleasant. One snag was the small elevator, which made big suitcases hard to manage. The hotel staff helped with the luggage, and we tipped them, although they had a fixed amount in mind.

The room was much smaller than the photos suggested, and the washroom was unhygienic, with hair left in it. At reception, a young male staff member was rude, impolite, uncooperative, and unskilled. He even asked for my car key for a delivery. Unbelievable.
