Flamingo Hotel & Spa - Pet Friendly

The garden is lovely and well kept, with parrots, flowers, and trees. The pools are nice, the rooms clean, and the atmosphere quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, though guests seemed glued to their phones in the Instagram-worthy surroundings. Breakfast coffee was terrible, and Ölüdeniz was crowded in mid-September. The managers came across as cold and unwelcoming. I also had a frustrating booking issue: I'd forgotten to add a baby bed, but when I called after paying, staff insisted I had to request it through the website. Someone even hung up on me once. On my next try, the person said the same thing and identified themselves as “the manager.” Only after I pushed several times did they agree to add a note.

The pet-friendly feel is a big plus, and the cocktails are wonderful, with lots of choice and lovely presentation. Breakfast and dinner were both fresh and delicious, and the staff were so friendly, spoke English very well, and were always ready to help. The place feels stylish and cozy, with a distinctive aesthetic that doesn't feel like typical Turkey. A real gem in Ölüdeniz. I can't wait to return 🤍😌🐾

The green grounds were the standout for me. Mature trees and all the vegetation give the place a peaceful, refreshing feel, and the reception, bar, restaurant, and shared spaces are both stylish and practical. It was impeccably clean in my room and around the pool. The kitchen staff were kind and attentive, and breakfast had a good range of fresh options. My superior double with a pool view was much smaller than I expected. There was only enough room between the bed and wall for one person to pass at a time. Pool towels aren't provided, so bring your own. I was also disappointed to find that the most beautiful pool, shown in so many hotel photos, is reserved for bungalow guests. I hadn't known that before booking and had really been looking forward to using it.

Aida and Hakan were the bright spot of our stay. They were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience much easier to bear. Without their kindness, I would have felt far more negative about it. We arrived late and were disappointed by how old and run-down the rooms looked. The night staff were unpleasant after our long journey, and at check-in we learned the pool shown in the photos wasn't available to us, which felt misleading. Breakfast looked pretty with all the decorations, but didn't seem very hygienic.
