The pool was lovely and got sun all day, and the staff were amazing. But we’ve just come back from ten days at the one club, and had to change apartments four times. Most of the food was awful and inedible. All inclusive only covered a choice of five drinks, and only until 10:30. After that, all drinks cost extra, and you had to pay for the other options too. The place badly needs repairs and a serious upgrade. It’s nowhere near a 4-star hotel, maybe 2 stars at most. We spent extra money eating in town to get a decent meal, and had stomach bugs while we were there. Other holidaymakers we talked to said the same. We’ll never go back.

The views were fantastic, the rooms were spacious, and the location was spot on. The service was first class, with staff who couldn’t do enough for us.

Stayed 12/9 to 19/9. The area around the hotel was beautiful, but the hotel itself needs a huge refurbishment and investment. It’s nowhere close to a 4-star place, I’d give it 2 stars at most. The food was appalling, barely lukewarm, so we ate out more often than in. There was no entertainment at any time of day or night. The pool area was filthy, broken sun loungers were all over the place, and the cushions smelled of cat urine. We booked all inclusive, but decent drinks cost extra and there were no snacks during the day. When we arrived, the front of the hotel looked nothing like the pictures. My room was so dirty I bought cleaning supplies at a local shop and cleaned it myself. The air conditioning and fridge didn’t work. There were no fresh towels or bedding all week.

The hotel’s location worked well for us. It’s not far from the beach, and the free shuttle had great timings. The private beach area was a good size, with free loungers and parasols, plus a little hut for all-inclusive soft drinks. There are places nearby selling food and ice cream at reasonable prices. Town is about two minutes away by taxi, around 200 lira each way, with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. People were friendly and polite when inviting us to buy things, without being too pushy, and we found some bargains. The bars had entertainment such as belly dancers and karaoke. The beach itself felt very safe, with attentive lifeguards, and some men offered legitimate boat trips without being pushy. The hotel was accessible, with ramps and plenty of room to move around, and it was kid friendly. The room was clean and air conditioned, and the netted doors were nice. We had a good week in the pools, which were a lovely temperature, with plenty of sunbeds and well-kept trees and greenery. The outdoor bar and seating were fine, with a netted canopy for shade. But the park was in disrepair. Nine guests told us they had ear infections, and my son came home with one too. I was advised that pool water was the likely cause if so many people had the same problem. We didn’t have issues with chemicals or sharp edges ourselves, though some steps at the pool entrance felt rough. The all-inclusive food was decent and there was always something to eat, though it was much the same most days, with a few changes. Desserts barely varied, and the same three fruits appeared daily, apples, watermelon, and oranges. Dishes weren’t labelled, so we couldn’t tell what they were. Drinks were the worst all-inclusive selection I’ve had at any hotel. Alcohol choices were lager, vodka, whisky, and red or white wine, none particularly good. They put in so little alcohol that people kept commenting on it, saying you’d need 100 drinks to feel tipsy. Other drinks cost extra and weren’t especially cheap. The barman was always friendly and spoke English. All-inclusive service stopped at 10:30, after which drinks had to be paid for. We arrived around midnight and were greeted by a lovely blonde woman. With four hungry, tired, thirsty kids, it wasn’t great that there was no snack or drink waiting for us. We were told we could get tea or coffee from the restaurant machines, but they weren’t on. We could buy a cold drink at the bar, since all-inclusive ends at 10:30. Our beds had only one top sheet and one pillow each. We asked for more the next day and they brought them quickly, but the two quilts had no covers. They kept us warm, at least. During our seven days, the room was swept once and clean towels were left; the beds weren’t changed and the bins weren’t emptied otherwise. Food was okay overall, but the breakfast wasn’t good unless you love eggs. Lunch was usually nice, especially the spicy cous cous. Dinner was okay, with meat, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Some dishes weren’t labelled, which could be tricky for allergies, though I’m sure staff would explain if asked because the chef was always nearby topping things up. Desserts were traditional Turkish dishes, so don’t expect chocolate cake. There wasn’t much food during the day, just a small piece of cake at 5pm. At the bar there was beer, red and white wine that could be made into spritz, local spirits, and soft drinks such as Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. Bottled water wasn’t included, but there was a small water station outside the restaurant. There was no daytime or evening entertainment, even though it was peak season. I mean none at all by the pools or at night, just repetitive music from the barman, usually the same every evening. They took a request when we asked. I think the lack of entertainment loses them money, since people went into town to drink and watch shows. For the location, it’s excellent. If you mainly need a base with a pool dip between excursions and trips to town, it’s perfect. If you want to keep kids entertained, this probably isn’t the place. The rooms and food are decent, the receptionist was lovely, and the surroundings and private beach are lovely too. The place needs work, general updating, entertainment, and more English speakers in the dining room. We couldn’t get anyone to understand our questions about the food. We had a good week in the pools, but the little town’s bars and shops made the holiday, rather than the hotel. We ended up spending a lot more money going out than we should have on an all-inclusive stay.

For what you pay, it’s about what you’d expect. The mountains are beautiful, and it’s very close to the airport and five minutes from town. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The room was basic but fine if you just need somewhere to sleep. There was a fridge with water, which was great, but only one plug socket, hanging out of the wall. The bedroom had no main light, and the shower didn’t drain properly. Cleanliness wasn’t up to standard. The pool was lovely with plenty of sunbeds. We had no trouble with chemicals or sharp edges, though some steps felt a bit rough. The slide was on only twice a day for 45 minutes. There’s no evening entertainment apart from music at the bar, which isn’t really entertainment, and the music was repetitive. We asked for a song and they played it. The place is accessible, with ramps and plenty of space to get around, and it’s kid friendly too. Food was mixed. Breakfast wasn’t great unless you’re keen on eggs, lunch was generally nice, and the spicy cous cous deserves a mention. Dinner was okay, with meat, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes. Not all the food was labelled, so allergies could be tricky, though the chef was usually nearby and I’m sure staff would answer if you asked. Desserts were traditional Turkish ones, so don’t come expecting chocolate cake. There wasn’t much to eat during the day, just a small piece of cake at 5pm. Drinks included beer, red or white wine that could be made into spritz, local spirits, and soft drinks like Coke, Sprite, and Fanta. Bottled water wasn’t provided, but a small water station was outside the restaurant. The all-inclusive drinks stopped at 10:30, and after that you had to pay. If you’re going out to party, town may be better, where imported drinks cost about the same. The free shuttle to the beach ran on time and had good timings. The beach was lovely, with a small bar serving Turkish flatbreads from noon to 2, plus soft drinks and coffee, but no alcohol. There were legitimate boat trips on offer too. Some previous reviews mentioned pool chemicals and sharp edges, but we didn’t experience those problems ourselves, beyond the rough-feeling steps. It’s a cheap and cheerful holiday, and some reviews are very harsh, but it’s really not that bad. Just don’t expect a five-star hotel.
