Kefi Beach and Suites

The beach is centrally located, and the property is one of the largest on the seafront, but it feels more like a private business empire than a place for the public. It is widely known that the Aras family operates it, and Ahmet Aras is the mayor, which raises concerns about fairness and public access. Sunbeds occupy almost every square meter, leaving little room for anyone unwilling to pay the high prices. The fees feel excessive and out of step with an accessible, family-friendly beach. Loud music plays through the day, creating constant noise and making it hard to relax or enjoy nature. The water use also seems extremely wasteful, especially in hot, dry summers when conserving water should matter. The mayor's involvement in this arrangement is a disgraceful example of public power serving profit instead of people. Ortakent deserves beaches that respect the local community and the environment.

Yesterday my family and some friends went there. We ordered a pizza, fries, and two alcoholic drinks. When I asked for the bill, the waiter first said 2,500 TL, then changed it to 5,000 TL. He explained that the entrance fee was 1,500 TL, even though my friends and I had been going there for four days and each person had been paying 800 TL. I said it was unfair, and the manager came over and sarcastically told me, with a snicker, that this was their rule. Most of the staff seemed unprofessional, and the way I was treated was very rude. I wish I hadn't gone. Be careful too.

The sea and sand are beautiful, and the location is nice, but the music was horribly loud. After 4pm we couldn't stay on the beach, and there was no way to read or relax. They paused it during dinner, then started again just after dinner and kept going until 1am. Maybe it's a great stay if you want a party holiday, but that's not what we expected from the website. I wouldn't recommend it for a relaxing holiday without a headache.

The food was tasty, good-sized portions, and affordable. It's very close to the beach, and the water was chilly and refreshing, just right for August. Friendly, polite servers and great service.
