The morning construction noise was the one real drawback. Renovation work with tools started early, making it hard to sleep or relax, and nobody mentioned it when I booked. Light sleepers or anyone hoping for a quiet morning might find it a problem. If you’re up early and out exploring, it may not bother you. Otherwise, this was a good, affordable choice for my Safranbolu trip, around 1,000 TL (about $25 USD). The location is handy for the historical center, attractions, restaurants, and shops, all within walking distance. My room was simple but clean and had the basics for a short stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We spent two nights at this guesthouse over the holiday after choosing it based on its reviews and ratings. The place and our room were clean and tidy, and Mr. Mehmet Ali helped us with everything. He also treated us to tea and coffee in the evening and again in the morning. It’s close to the old bazaar and other sights, and I’d recommend it to friends and relatives visiting Safranbolu.

Ms. Mine and Mr. Mehmet Ali made us feel right at home with their sincere hospitality and thoughtful attention. Breakfast was carefully prepared and delicious, too. I chose Akçasu Konak for our Safranbolu holiday, and the location was ideal for walking to the old bazaar and many historic sites. Our room was lovely, comfortable, and very clean, with the mansion’s historic character all around us. We’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Safranbolu and hope to return! 😊🏡✨

The guesthouse was just what we needed for our two-day stay. The room was a good size and very clean, and we were close to the market while still in a quiet, peaceful area. It had a warm, homey feel. We travel often, and now we know where we’ll stay when we come to Karabük. Thanks to Emine Hanım for the hospitality.
