Beyzade Konak Otel

The night water started coming through the ceiling was when we decided to leave as soon as possible. It was shower water from the room above. Before that, we'd already asked to move because the first bathroom was tiny, as the photo shows. The replacement room was also very small, with no closet and barely enough room to stand and change clothes. When we arrived, they first asked whether we were married. We explained that we were engaged and that this rule wasn't listed in the booking app, but reception still had to check with the owner before giving us a room. I've had few hotel stays worse than this. I know the buildings are old, but the conditions could be much better. Don't trust the hotel descriptions.

It was a miserable stay, and I wouldn't recommend the place. Around 8:15 pm, water began dripping beside the bed and right onto the pillow. I called several times, but nobody answered. Building 4 is a long way from the main building, Building 1, so the location felt poor. In winter the heater couldn't bring the room to a comfortable temperature, either.

We got a good rest here. The hotel has nice facilities, the food was good, and the staff were very friendly.
