The homemade traditional breakfast is a real treat, and the hosts are lovely. This old building sits right in the historic heart of Safranbolu, just 100 metres from the bazaar. Highly recommended.

The old wooden house means you can hear everything, even a cat up on the ceiling. Still, the place is clean, the breakfast is good, and the location is perfect. The owners are welcoming, and the owner's wife makes and sells lovely jams. Staying in this authentic old-city home in Safranbolu feels like stepping back in time.

I loved the breakfast, especially the homemade jams and thyme salad. The rooms were clean, and the owners made us feel welcome. It's a lovely family-run place, and I'd recommend it to everyone.

We spent one night here this weekend. Mr. Turgut and his wife, Mrs. Nalan, were genuinely hospitable and wonderful. For the location and facilities, it offers very good value. Turning such an old mansion into a hotel means not everything can be perfect, but they did the best they could.

We slept so soundly we barely noticed the night pass. The rooms are well kept while retaining their natural character, and everything was very clean and hygienic. Breakfast was really good too. Turgut Reis and his wife run the place together, though she's mostly the one in charge :)
