Serenity Dome Sapanca

The location was the only good thing for me. It was quiet, but dogs barked through the night and affected our sleep. The open layout also meant very little privacy: neighbors could see us in the jacuzzi and around the property, while other guests could see what we were doing. Only inside the dome felt private. Cleanliness was very poor throughout, including the jacuzzi, floors, cutlery, and barbecue tools. Food left by previous guests was still there when we checked out. Security was essentially absent, with only a dog to protect you and your family. At check-in, Mr. Gokan gave us the key, showed us our dome, and left. We never saw anyone again to help, including at checkout; we had to message him and leave the key. We agreed to pay 200 per person to add breakfast, but nobody came in the morning. We left without it, and he refused to return the money. I can't recommend this place, especially with better options in the surrounding area.

We rented two houses for five people, but breakfast came for only four, and we had to pay 40 tl for extra eggs. They didn't provide drinking water either. We got just four towels, and even after asking, waited two days for more. One house had a broken shower and there was no room cleaning at all. Hungry dogs and a cat were around us all day, making it impossible to eat on the terrace or leave the door open. The service was terrible.

We spent one night here on a birthday trip my wife planned. The place was peaceful, and the owner was attentive. Everything was very clean and hygienic, and it offered a different kind of stay from the usual bungalows. A couple of things were missing or didn't work as hoped: there was no hairdryer, and the jacuzzi wouldn't make bubbles. Breakfast wasn't offered.

The stairs were steep and dangerous, and I slipped and fell down the slope. The bed also felt very delicate, to the point that a 100-kilogram person couldn't sleep on it. There was no hairdryer, and when we tried the jacuzzi on the second evening, no water came out, hot or cold. They might have helped if we'd asked. There are two domes back-to-back with no divider, so guests can see each other. The owner welcomed us and looked after us on arrival, but didn't come back after that, though he was reachable. There was a Magnum ice cream in the fridge. Enjoy.
