Otel Akça

The breakfast wasn’t what you’d expect from a 3 stars otel. Please don’t use the 10 TL discount on the room price to excuse it, I’ve had much better breakfasts in 2 stars otels all over Turkiye. We found out at 22:00 PM that there was no hot water. It was repared the next morning, but I still expected some kind of commercial gesture from the owner, and got none. There wasn’t a blanket on the bed either. They said they’d bring one in 10 minutes, then never showed up.

I stayed one night and the room was really clean. The bed, pillows, towels, everything was fine, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. If you’re arriving at night, just know the area feels a bit deserted. Breakfast was adequate, a normal breakfast rather than a buffet, though I think they usually serve it buffet style. I didn’t find much missing, but a shower cabin and hairdryer would be useful. They probably provide a hairdryer on request, but I didn’t ask. It was good overall.

The way they spoke to us was rude, and there was no interest or communication. When we complained that the air conditioner kept stopping every 10-20 minutes, they said, "There's no technician, and I don't understand anything about it." Reception might as well not be there, they were uninterested and unhelpful, and there’s no parking. At breakfast, we tried the toaster they’d put outside and got scolded: "That's my personal machine, you should have asked!" They’ve made rudeness normal and don’t know how to talk to customers. I don’t recommend staying here. Don’t make the same mistake.

Room 303 was clean, including the bathroom and towels, and there was no cigarette smell. The AC and TV both worked, and we had hot and cold water, though the shower head leaked. I came for one night, so I wasn’t expecting a luxury room. It was quiet, clean, and family-friendly, with a reasonable price. There’s no parking right in front of the building, but municipal and private lots are nearby. I found a spot in front of the hotel and was told it would be fine until 9 am. Breakfast was one of the reasons I chose the place.
