Safran Thermal Resort

The pools weren’t clean enough. I’m not even referring to the thermal pool, the other pools had leaves and sand in them. Food was served cold, and although we reported it to reception last night, nothing improved. With the hotel so crowded over the semester break, there also weren’t enough staff, which hurt the service. We were 13 people across four rooms and paid 4,000 TL per person. A guest who joined later for just one day was charged 5,000 TL per person. We didn’t ask for another room, since there were empty beds and we asked our guest to stay in the same room. We registered them with reception in good faith. With occupancy so high, staff might not otherwise have noticed, but charging us more was unfair and seriously damaged our trust. Even basic things like Turkish coffee, popcorn, and waffles cost extra, which detracts from guest satisfaction at a thermal hotel. These are shared observations from several guests who stayed under similar conditions. We expect the hotel to take these issues into account and make the needed improvements.
