Gabriel made us feel very welcome. It’s a wonderful place to stay in the old quarter, and I highly recommend it.

The rates are reasonable, especially with that superb breakfast included. This beautifully restored traditional Kurdish mansion has stunning architecture and room design. The owner, both twins, and Bilal, who handles breakfast service, were all super friendly and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

We stayed for two nights, went to Mount Nemrut, then came back to the lively city of Urfa and this family-run hotel. There’s parking, breakfast, WiFi, and plenty of hot water. The bathroom is modern, and the heating and cooling are excellent. The rooms have lofts that work perfectly for kids, plus beautifully restored wood trim and closets from 150 years ago. It’s a quaint, original hotel.

The owner took me out for a day tour, and the rates were very reasonable. It was a comfortable, welcoming little hideaway, and I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious, too.

Cebrail (Gabriel), the manager, is lovely and very helpful. He speaks English and knows a great deal about the area, and can help arrange tours so you see the region’s most important historic sites. The hotel is lovely, right in the historic centre of Sanliurfa, with good-sized rooms and very comfortable beds. It’s easy to walk to the main historic sights. I highly recommend it!
