Rehavi Konagi

It felt like a joyful get-together with everyone included, rather than a show put on for an audience. The musicians were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive all evening. At Rehavi Konagi, the traditional sira gecesi had live music, great vibes, and a beautiful historic setting that brought out Urfa's spirit. If you're in Urfa looking for something local and special, this is the place to go!

What an amazing night, one of the traditional Sıla gecesi.

We started our vacation in turkey here, and I'll never forget the stay. The owner and staff were the best. The owner showed us around the city at night and treated us to coffee and sweets. We made friends with everyone, even the talking bird Pasha and the cute cat Tokyo 🐦🐈. The building is pretty and traditional, right in the city center, with a big yard where you can have breakfast. If you're lucky, you might catch a traditional music show there at night. Our room was spacious for two, with a quiet air conditioner and a fridge, and trying the traditional turkish shower was a nice new experience.

We booked a room, but on arrival were told the hotel was full and we'd have to stay at their second hotel instead. They sent us walking for 10 minutes, and the place we reached was a completely different hotel with a much smaller room, definitely not what we'd booked. Cancelling then wasn't really an option: they said they needed to do the cancellation or they'd charge us afterwards for booking and never checking in. You see this mentioned in reviews, and it happened to us too. Don't book here!
