Everything in Urfa was within walking distance, from the Archaeological Museum to Balikgol, Abraham’s Cave, and the bazaars. The place was incredibly clean, beautiful, and had phenomenal service, plus an excellent breakfast. The owner communicated clearly before and during our stay and was happy to arrange an inexpensive nearby parking spot or taxis from the airport. The drivers knew the area well and shared ideas for where to go and what to do. Tayfun, the night staff member, speaks English well and was gracious and ready to help with anything.

Edem came down the street to meet us, got into our car, and helped us find the hotel. Such a kind guy. The city is hard to drive around, especially with the construction and one-way roads making the place difficult to locate, but Edem said the construction should improve, so don't let that put you off. The hotel has fantastic rooms and a great location, and its breakfast was the best we had at any hotel in Turkey. Staying there felt like stepping back in time.

I really enjoyed breakfast in the lovely patio beside the fountain. The food was amazing, and the hotel itself has loads of character. When I arrived, they let me switch to another room so I could have more privacy, and it was very comfortable. The owner was kind and helpful, made me feel at home, and gave me all the information I needed. I'd definitely recommend staying here! Thank you so much, Çok teşekkürler!

The hotel is in a house that's nearly half a millennium old, and it feels magical. It's also so close to the city center that the main tourist sights are only a short trip away. I arrived early but was still greeted warmly, had a really pleasant and meaningful conversation, and was invited for tea. I rarely feel so welcome on vacation.
