Altin otel made our ski break straightforward and affordable. They arranged on-call rides between the airport, hotel, and slopes, plus ski hire with all the gear and clothes, and an instructor available at the hotel. Our room was warm, clean, and spacious, with WiFi, and the home-cooked breakfasts and dinners were tasty and plentiful. They kept us updated and communication was efficient, with English spoken. Everyone in this family-run place was welcoming and ready to help, and we came to feel like part of the family. It had what we wanted for a ski holiday at a good price. Five stars, no question.

If you're skiing Sarıkamış's powder slopes on a budget, this is a convenient place to stay. The family-run hotel feels like visiting relatives, and both breakfast and dinner have a delicious range of local dishes.

The staff were indifferent, communication was poor, and I felt like a burden instead of a guest. The breakfast area also looked unacceptable for hygiene, with clear problems in cleanliness and order. In winter, the rooms didn't get warm enough, and the hot water stopped after just 2-5 minutes in the shower, so a proper wash was impossible. The whole stay was a disappointment, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values their time, money, or peace of mind. It was especially sad to have such a poor stay in a beautiful place like Sarıkamış. The hotel's claim that I wrote out of "malice" doesn't address what happened. The booking inconvenience was a separate matter from the concrete problems we experienced during the stay. The water cutting off, insufficient heating, staff indifference, and lack of hygiene in the breakfast area were things we encountered firsthand, not just personal feelings. I was sharing my experience as a consumer, not acting out of malice. If the service is truly "in plain sight," it would be more constructive to respond to those specific issues with explanations instead of making the criticism personal. I don't want to slander anyone, just to be honest about my experience. Readers can judge for themselves. I wish you good work.
