My husband, our dog Indy, and I spent two and a half months at Teoscitta and enjoyed it a lot. The apartment was bright and comfortable, and Sibel, our landlord, was welcoming, friendly, and always helpful. The center of Siğacik is within walking distance and is a lovely, cozy place. Sibel, thanks so much for a wonderful stay. It was lovely meeting you. Until next time, take care 😘

Sığacık is a charming little town with a large marina, nearby beaches, and pretty much everything you need. Akarca Beach is especially worth mentioning: long, clean, and clear, though the water gets deep quickly. I left my kids there and went a little farther out, but turned back after the Coast Guard boat warned me. We stayed at Teoscitta, whose name comes from the ancient city of Teos and reminds me of a kitten. It's a 1+1 apartment with a living room and kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, and pets are allowed. We brought our cat and had a great time. Sibel is genuinely cat-friendly. The apartment was clean and had the appliances and utensils we needed: air conditioning, TV, fridge, automatic shutters, dishwasher, stovetop, and oven. There's also a green garden, a garden gate, and a security camera. A washing machine was there too, but its door was taped shut for some reason; we didn't need it. The pool wasn't in use. We paid 4000 TL per night over the holiday, Eid al-Adha, June 16-19, 2024, though other dates may be cheaper. We were comfortable and found the location convenient, with Sığacık center a five-minute walk away. Prices could be more reasonable. Thanks, Sibel. We might return or send someone. (Serdar Demir)

The castle is close by, which made the location especially convenient. We were very happy with our stay, and Ms. Sibel’s friendly, guest-focused approach really stood out.

Right in central Sığacık, with everything an easy walk away, this place was the most satisfying holiday stay I’ve had after trying many others. It’s spacious, clean, well kept, and feels comfortable like home. We were glad it welcomes pets, too. Ms. Sibel is lovely and looked after guests with real warmth and care. We had a peaceful, fun, safe family holiday, and we’ll choose it again whenever we come to Sığacık. We were very happy here, and I’d absolutely recommend it.
