If you like Germans, this could be the place for you. The rooms were clean, as were most of the facilities, but the hotel is very tired and could do with a full refurbishment. The food seemed mostly catered to German guests, with very little variation from day to day. When we went in the low season, they said some facilities might be closed, but in practice most of them were. There wasn’t a single English TV station either. This was probably our worst holiday, and we definitely wouldn’t return.

The hotel is mainly geared towards German speakers, though English is widely spoken too. I went in mid-March and found the staff friendly and attentive. As an adults-only place, it was peaceful, with no noise from children. The food was high quality and available all day. The WiFi didn’t cover everywhere, but when it connected, it was impressively fast. My room was spotless, although the bathroom could use a thorough renovation. Both indoor and outdoor pools were available, but at 140 cm deep they weren’t suitable for diving. The spa, gym, sauna and Turkish steam bath were excellent. All the wellness facilities except massages were included and easy to access, though the wellness staff could be pushy about selling extra massages. Be firm with them. It’s an exceptional ultra all-inclusive hotel with outstanding service, well beyond what I expected. I’m definitely going back.

The beach is close by, and we could always find enough free loungers there. Our room was always clean and had fresh towels. We had a great holiday and I’d recommend coming here for a chance to relax and have a bit of a detox. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. The only minor annoyances were the unreliable, slow WiFi, which might actually suit you if you want a break from being online, and the pool loungers, which were often all taken early in the morning.

Most guests were German, so German was the main language, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The bars were well stocked and the service was excellent, with staff working hard to look after everyone. The rooms and hotel were spotless, and there was a large property with grounds leading down to the beach. The food was very good, with lots of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Entertainment was hit or miss, though the entertainment manager was very good. All the staff were fantastic, and we had a brilliant time.
