The staff were warm and so helpful, especially the woman who took such good care of us during our stay. She even kindly helped when we needed laundry done. The hotel was very clean, the stay was comfortable, and the service was great. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Very welcoming staff, and the place feels clean and new. Breakfast choices were limited, but what there was tasted fresh and good. Prices were a little lower than at other hotels nearby. Just keep in mind, parking isn't included.

The smell coming from the kitchen was so awful that I couldn't face another morning there. It woke me at 7 am, after the muezzin's call had woken me at 5:30. The call was lovely and kind of romantic, but the kitchen odor was rancid old oil, as if centuries of frying every Black Sea fish since the Genoveses arrived in Sinop had gone into one pan. It came through the toilet vent, which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and was still strong in the stairwell three hours later. I covered my nose with a T-shirt and managed to rest a little longer. I could try to describe the smell more, but I don't want to put anyone off fried fish for ages. I know I won't be having any today. For the price, the room itself was okay. The sheets were a bit old and not very clean, though the room and toilet were clean and decent in size. Internet was somewhat slow for video calls, but fine for YouTube. When I told the receptionist about the smell, he said he was frying breakfast and apologized. I suggested changing the oil as soon as possible. I moved to another hotel, and happiness returned. Sinop is lovely. I'm sitting at the harbor with Turkish coffee, but even its strong taste hasn't cleared that salty, fresh sea smell from my mouth. Life.

Just five minutes on foot from Sinop Castle, the hotel is right in the center and costs a reasonable amount compared with other places. The rooms and showers were clean, the AC worked perfectly, and the shower water flowed really well. After swimming in the sea, I loved having a good shower. It's a clean, well-located hotel for the price, a good base for sleeping and heading out to explore in the morning. Breakfast is included, with melon, menemen, french fries, boiled eggs, and good-quality cheese and kashar cheese. I really recommend it.
