Sivas Buyuk Hotel

The rooms are spacious and tidy, the breakfast is very good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a wonderful hotel in a great spot, right in the middle of the town’s main street. But I’m very sensitive to cigarettes, and I could smell smoke all over the hotel, including in my room. It was really suffocating. I wish management would find a way to deal with the smoking.

A nice choice if you’re staying in Sivas, with good rooms and friendly service. If you don’t smoke, be sure to ask for a non-smoking room.

We were close to restaurants and shops, and both the location and rooms were great! The only drawback was the Wi-Fi being a bit slow. Otherwise, I’d recommend it.

The staff were welcoming as soon as I got to the front desk, and the woman checking us in handled everything quickly and without any hassle. The location is good too, with almost everything within walking distance. But I asked for a non-smoking room, and the cigarette smell was noticeable the moment I walked in. I couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi even though the router is only 3 feet from my room. Compared with the other hotels I’ve stayed at around Turkey (wow Istanbul otel, Madame Tadia, Senna city otel, SRF otel, Barida Hotel, IBIS) and another place in Sivas (Buruciye otel), this is very expensive. I’m staying here now and I’m not satisfied. I’m not sure I’d make it a first choice for any of my friends, though it could be an alternative.
