The food was tasty and came out quickly. I do think the staff could be warmer and more sincere, and their professional service could use some improvement.

The food was a hit with all our guests, and the staff were helpful and kind. We booked for 30 people for our engagement celebration, and service stayed quick. Even when extra guests showed up at the last minute and the restaurant was full, they rearranged the tables for us. There was an 80s-90s night in the club section, so we could celebrate in one place with both older relatives and friends. Alaz Restaurant is a good choice if you want to spend quality time.

We ended up having dinner at Alaz Hotel/Restaurant every night because the food was so good, especially the meat dishes. Alaz Sarma was my favorite. The hotel itself has two lovely rooms with great views and thoughtfully unusual decor. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were professional and helpful. I’m Turkish and had lived in New York for a long time, and this was my first planned visit to Ordu with friends. We wanted a small, distinctive boutique hotel, and this turned out to be the best one in town for us. We were sorry to leave this morning, and we’ll definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay!
