The biggest hassle was parking, which can be tough in this part of town, but the kind staff saved me a space. I also found the Wi-Fi very weak on the 3rd floor. The cleaners used a strong-smelling product to freshen up the room, which I wish they hadn't done because I don't like perfume, though I know that's a matter of taste. Otherwise, this place is a brilliant discovery: a little gem in a historic building right on Tekirdag's main square. The decor has an old-time feel without being fussy, and the staff are super friendly. There's excellent barista coffee in the ground floor cafe if you don't want to use the Nespresso machine in your room. English-speaking Berkant is a fine barista and a philosopher too.

Berkant was always friendly and helpful, and gave us great local tips. We also appreciated the owner, who made sure everything was perfect and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and cozy, with beautiful decor, and breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning. We had an amazing stay. This hotel is a wonderful experience, not just a place to sleep. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Berkant was so nice and helpful from the start. I arrived with a crashed tire, and he helped me, which was my first impression of him. The house is beautiful cultural heritage, clean, and has such a cozy mood. It's the best hotel and the best service I've ever had. Thank you, “boss,” for giving food and water every night to all the people and kids who came to you! 🤗
