The tour we booked through the hotel’s Eyce Tours was the highlight of our ten-day trip to Turkey. We had a private car and driver for our group of five, and it was still the cheapest package we found in the region. Bayram was a gem: he took us around the best spots in Trabzon and Rize, stopped for photos, and shaped the itinerary around the restaurants and sights we wanted. He also showed us places known to locals so we could try regional food, answered all our questions, and extended the tour so we could fit in a few extra stops. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and will recommend him to friends. The hotel itself is a minute’s walk from the main square, near restaurants and the main high street. We were upgraded to a spacious room with a lovely sea view, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were so welcoming and attentive. They made the stay feel special, and everything was better than we expected. We had a great experience and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

The reception staff were polite and helpful, and the hotel is close to the main square, but the rest of our stay was very disappointing. We booked a Deluxe room and got two single beds pushed together in an uncomfortable way. My wife and I had strong itching on the first night. Cleanliness was poor, the bathroom had no ventilation, no toothbrush, and not even a shower head. There was a persistent damp smell, and the window was broken and unsafe to open. The food was available, but the choices were very limited, repetitive, and tasteless. They didn’t provide even basic things like coffee or milk. On the first day we were told breakfast began at 6 AM, but on our last day, when we had a flight to catch, we found the restaurant didn’t open until 7:30 AM. The room had only a mini fridge with two tiny 150 ml water bottles, plus a TV and air conditioner. This hotel falls short of even basic standards. I’d give it less than one star if I could.
