Uzunkum Hotel

The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and Uzunkum Hotel was perfectly located for exploring Trabzon. Zainab, Eda, and Barat, along with the front desk and housekeeping teams, made our stay memorable. From arrival onward, everyone was kind, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. The whole team went above and beyond, and we'll definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thanks for making us feel so welcome, and keep up the great work!

I asked for a fresh bed sheet before sleeping on the bed, which was my right, but then waited two whole days. After that, I was shouted at because the person responsible for service couldn't communicate well. When I wouldn't accept that, they told me to check out and go somewhere else. This doesn't represent Turkish hospitality or a good Türkiye experience. Good luck with what comes next.

The location felt safe and quiet, with a large supermarket, a grocery store, restaurants, and a lovely garden behind the hotel nearby. Staff were generally kind and helpful, the receptionist was always available, calls were answered quickly, and requests like an iron arrived fast. Room cleaning was consistent, and there was a luggage scale at reception. The rooms are modern, and breakfast was generally good, though the selection was limited. My room was very small and poorly soundproofed. Alarms from neighboring rooms often woke me, and a restaurant next door held very loud wedding parties from the afternoon until after 11 PM, with drums and dancing for hours. There were lipstick stains on the bed cover from previous guests. The AC was irregular, sometimes changing settings or turning off by itself, and I'd wake up sweating. The bathroom was tiny, had too few towel hooks, and no ventilation.

Ms. Eda at reception deserves special thanks, and all the staff are great and friendly. The place is incredible and suitable for vacation or business trips, but since it's a 4-star hotel, more attention should be paid to room size. Even so, the hotel is great.
