Cappadocia Symbol Hotel

The place was quiet, but the stay was poor value. We paid extra for breakfast and it was mediocre. The rooms weren’t clean, the towels felt stiff, and the beds were very uncomfortable. My father’s back hurt because of the bed. The room was hot, though I can’t fault them for that. There’s no elevator, which made carrying our suitcases upstairs very difficult. Then, in the evening as we were getting ready for bed, they suddenly raised the price we’d agreed on. I’m writing in English so everyone can understand.

After spending the previous night in a cave hotel, which was a very good experience, we enjoyed staying in a regular hotel with more fresh air and light. The young couple who own this family hotel were so friendly and helpful. At the last minute, they booked us a dinner and dancing show, drove us to the restaurant in their own car, and picked us up afterward. We had a rental car, but driving there wasn’t convenient if we wanted to drink wine with dinner. We were really grateful to Mustafa and his wife for helping us have such a fantastic evening.

I liked watching the sunset from the balcony, and the cheese omelette at breakfast was good. Symbol hotel is a new, family-run place with spacious, comfortable rooms. Mustafa, the owner, was very helpful and made me feel at home. The parking area fits two or three motorcycles and is watched by cameras. The front door uses a chip, so it’s easy to get back in late.

The hosts were great. They helped me check in late at night, plan my days in Cappadocia, and even order food one evening. Their personal service was thoughtful and suited what I needed. Symbol hotel is in a quiet part of Uchisar and is very budget friendly, so it’s a lovely choice if you want a peaceful place. Breakfast was very good too. I’d absolutely recommend it.
