Karlik Evi Boutique Hotel - Special Class

We loved the convenient location near the main attractions, and the room was comfortable with a panoramic view. The staff welcomed us warmly, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning.

I wasn't staying overnight, so I can't speak to the rooms, but the grounds and seating areas in the gardens were unforgettable, both upstairs and downstairs. It's a large historical house with a big garden, views toward the castle and surrounding mountains, and many kinds of fruit trees. I counted two pools, one for children. The manager and staff were very friendly, and I got the feeling they had strong ties to the local community. I don't know its official star rating, but from my experience it felt like a 4-5 star hotel. I had a proper dinner in the restaurant, and both the food and service were fantastic, as you'd expect at a 4- or 5-star place.

The location made it easy to enjoy the hot air balloons at sunrise, and the hotel was a comfortable, luxurious place to relax after sightseeing. The Turkish breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant was fantastic. Our room was spacious and decorated in traditional Turkish style, which gave it charm, and the bed was so comfortable we slept well. What stood out most was the service. The staff made sure we had what we needed and went out of their way to help, from recommending local activities to arranging transportation. I'd highly recommend this as a base for exploring Cappadocia.

The Turkish art and artifacts around the hotel give it a real, authentic feel. We had a lovely stay, with roomy, cozy rooms, very comfortable beds, and a great view of the valley and balloons from our balcony. The staff were so accommodating, the service was phenomenal, and breakfast was magnificent. A great place to stay while visiting Cappadocia.
