Pigeon Hotel

After a long trip from Istanbul, we got in tired and worn out after midnight. The owner's son was there to welcome us and take us to our room, and that care carried on through the stay. Eser handled every question and need kindly, with great attention to detail. She thoughtfully arranged our trips and transfers, including a balloon tour. I wish her and her family all the best in running what I can only call an exceptional hotel.

The sunrise and sunset spots were lovely, with a garden below that has roses, a swing, and a lounge chair. And waking up to hot air balloons crossing the view is breathtaking, so set an alarm. Pigeon Hotel felt like a little fairy house, with all its stairways and paths. The place is clean inside and out, decorated with local artwork, and the cave rooms are all different and well equipped with hot water, warm blankets, drinking water, tea, towels, and everything else we needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and even worked with us to make social media content about our stay, @fullcirclephenomenal. Breakfast was delicious, with different dishes and jams each morning, and that homemade, loving feel. We connected with Eser online after she heard we were coming to Cappadocia, and she invited us to stay. We're so glad we did. We're grateful to Eser and her family team for the experience.

The owners were so helpful with tips and arranging things, and the location made it easy to reach hiking and sightseeing spots around Cappadocia. We especially loved the cave rooms and the night view over Pigeon Valley, with all the lights. The owner's wife is an amazing cook, and her food was the best we had in Cappadocia. Breakfast was varied, with a different dish to try each morning. A great place to stay, highly recommend.

Each room had its own feel, and the decor was really cute. They take cleanliness seriously, and the view over Pigeon Valley is perfect. Staying here was an amazing experience, I'd definitely recommend it.
