Feris Cave Hotel

We were two couples and stayed six nights at Feris Cave Hotel. Having the two upper rooms worked well for us: they had balconies where we could sit together in the afternoons, and there was also space by reception near the breakfast area. The rooms were clean and had what we needed. The owner was glad to answer questions and offer suggestions or help. Breakfast was included, with a Turkish spread of honey, jams, cheese, sucuk, eggs, and bread. The hotel connects easily to a main road for getting around, and restaurants, drinks, and souvenir shops are within a short walk. And Patron, the owner's big, cuddly golden retriever, was a favorite. We'd recommend it 10/10 😊

I especially enjoyed my first coffee on the rooftop terrace at sunrise, looking out over Ürgüp. The terrace could use a little improvement, but the view was beautiful. We stayed one night, and the listing matched what we found: spacious, comfortable rooms and a polite, welcoming host. The courtyard is a nice place to relax and chat with other guests, and the hotel is close to the center. Tall guests should watch their heads, though, since this really is a cave hotel. Ask about parking when you book, including whether there's a space on site. The host is kind and happy to help. I'd recommend both the hotel and the host.

The owners were warm and always willing to chat or help, and breakfast was delicious. I liked the cozy rooms and the rooftop, which has a lovely view. The hotel is beautiful and near the center of Ürgüp. I'd recommend it and would come back.

Ürgüp is quieter than Göreme, so it suited us for a more peaceful holiday. We had a fantastic one-night stay here, with a lovely view and a very friendly owner. The golden retriever was sweet and happy to cuddle. Our room had everything we needed: a kettle, tea, coffee, bottled water, towels, TV, and amenities. Thanks for a great stay!
