Indiana Hotel

I came from Canada with my family and spent 12 nights here. The room situation became a problem when I needed to book a second room. I wanted us to stay together, so I felt I had to accept whatever price they gave me, yet they put one room on the first floor and the other on the third. The website photos looked clearly staged and edited. In person, the place felt more like a low-quality guesthouse than a hotel. Breakfast was very basic, and we kept having to ask staff to refill things. The shower drained slowly, so we had to wait a few minutes for the water to go down. To flush the toilet, you had to lift off the ceramic lid and press a button inside, which was ridiculous. The electricity also went out for several hours every day. I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re expecting a 3-star hotel. It’s nowhere close, unless you’re fine with something more like a budget guesthouse. In response to the hotel's reply, thanks for responding. Your message says a lot about your professionalism and how you treat guests who leave honest feedback. I never asked for a free room or tried to “steal” anything. I described what actually happened during our 12-night stay. Rather than address the maintenance, power outages, room conditions, or the price of the second room, you accused me of stealing and used insulting, disrespectful language, including calling me “uncultured”. Criticism is normal in hospitality. A professional business acknowledges problems and tries to improve, rather than insulting customers and their children. Everything in my original review is what we experienced. Future guests can read both sides and decide for themselves. I hope you reconsider how you speak to guests.

The location made it easy to get to the city center. Our room was clean and tidy enough, and the staff were polite and professional.

I really liked this hotel and would choose indiana hotel again. The prices and food were good, breakfast was nice, and my room was clean. The staff were such friendly, helpful people. The whole experience was better than I expected, and it was a level above the other places I’d stayed. It definitely deserves 5 stars.

The staff were wonderful and friendly, breakfast was great, and the view was nice. But the central location comes with a lot of noise: buses honking, construction, and children shouting at a big school nearby. The walls are thin too. I could hear people talking and snoring in other rooms, and different alarm clocks going off around me in the morning. Our bathroom smelled pretty bad.
