Mer-Can Story Apart Hotel

The food at the Mer-Can Story is excellent, with plenty of choices, and the beach is just a 20-30 second walk from the apartments. Waiters look after guests throughout the day, with friendly and excellent service. Can, his family, and the staff have become friends over the years. They offer helpful advice, good-natured banter, and do everything they can to make a holiday happy. Thank you, Can. We've stayed here several times over the past 16 years. It suited us just as well when we first came with a young family, since everything we needed was close by, as it does now that we're older and travel without children. The accommodation works perfectly for us. We highly recommend it and expect to return in the near future. Thank you, Can, from Melanie, Jane, Nelly & Curly 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 /🇹🇷

I had a really enjoyable week and will certainly come back. The apartment was simple but clean and had everything I needed, and the complex is nicely kept, with whitewashed apartments and bougainvillea all around. The bar is inviting, as is the pool, which stays a lovely temperature in the all-day sun. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for me, five-star service from everyone. The location on Yalikavak beach is perfect.

After three years of carrying the booking over because of Covid19, we finally made it for 14th-21st June 2022, and were glad we did. The apartment was lovely, the location excellent, and the staff brilliant and helpful. The menu was very good once we figured out we needed the QR code. Yalikavak centre is only minutes away on foot, though you'll need transport if you want to tour around. We've visited Yalikavak several times, and if we come back, Mercan-Story will be at the top of our list. Highly recommend the place, John (manager), and the team.

You're right on the beach in Yalikavak, close to everything. The apartments work well for two to four people, and they can fit in an extra bed for a family of five. There's a nice pool and bar, plus windsurfing hire beside the beach. Yalikavak gets an onshore breeze every day, so it stays cool and is safe for swimming.
